Reservation

Anyone wishing to stay at the hotel is advised to book in advance. The reservation will only be confirmed once the hotel has given its agreement. When making a reservation, the customer must pay a deposit or provide a credit card number. The hotel contract is deemed to have been concluded as soon as the parties have reached agreement. Reservations made on our site are effective once the reservation fee has been debited. In the event of rejection, the hotel may cancel the reservation. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the credit card before the date of arrival. If you book by telephone or e-mail, we will send you a secure payment link by e-mail (Pay By Lik). Your reservation must be validated within 24 hours. If you do not validate your booking, it will be cancelled. 

 

For changeable reservations (RACK) : 

 

A secure payment link will be sent to you within 3 days (or 6 days in July, August and September) in order to proceed with payment of the total amount of the nights. If payment is not received, your booking will be cancelled. 

 

Payment

Accommodation is payable no later than the day of departure. For long-term rentals (1 week or more), bills must be paid every week.

 

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Eurocard-Mastercard. It is also possible to pay by cash.

 

In application of article 2102 of the French Civil Code, customers may not oppose the retention of their baggage if they refuse to pay.

A valid bank card in the customer's name is required as a guarantee. The credit card used for the booking must be presented on arrival. A bank imprint of a minimum of €90 will be taken as a guarantee on arrival. In some cases, however, the imprint may appear as a pending debit on the bank account associated with the card used. In rare cases, the authorisation request may result in a debit by the Customer's bank before the actual debit is made. In this case, the balance will be automatically re-credited by the bank to the Customer and may appear as a refund.

 

Room rates are charged by the day. Failure to pay will result in the immediate expulsion of the customer, subject to legal proceedings for payment of the amount due. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction will be attributed to M. le Juge des référés des juridictions civiles. If the customer is unable to provide a valid bank card, we will be obliged to refuse the room rental request.

 

The Hotel reserves the right to charge the customer, using the credit card given as a guarantee when the reservation was made or on arrival, for any consumption, overnight stays or extras that have not been paid for on the day of departure. The same applies to any offence or damage noted after the customer's departure, the amount of compensation will be debited from the customer's card. The customer may request an invoice for these charges.

 

If the hotel key card is lost or not returned at the end of the stay, it will be charged to the customer using the credit card given as a guarantee at the time of booking or departure, at a rate of €10 per card.

 

Tourist tax

The tourist tax is never included in the price of the reservation. It is payable locally. Amount in force in 2024: €1.20 per person per night.

 

Car park

Private outdoor parking is available for €5 per day in low season and €20 in high season.

The car park is secure but not guarded. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle. A safe is available in your room. 

 

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am in the breakfast room. If breakfast is not included in your room rate, we advise you to book it the day before by contacting reception. If you are leaving very early in the morning, we can provide a breakfast tray in your room on request. Breakfast is €14 per person per night. Children's breakfast is €9 per child per night (up to the age of 10).

 

Cancellation / change of booking and commitment

In the event of modification or cancellation of a reservation, all customers must give notice at least 2 days - 48 hours (or 5 days in July, August and September) before the date of arrival. If the customer fails to give notice within the above time limits, he/she must pay as if he/she were staying. Any rental period started is payable in full. Late arrivals or early departures cannot under any circumstances give rise to a refund.

- In the event of cancellation or modification up to 2 days / 48 hours (or 5 days according to the conditions in force on the price list) before the date of arrival, the hotel will not charge a fee (request made by email).

- In the event of late cancellation or modification, the hotel will charge 100% of the stay (request made by email). - In the event of a no-show, the hotel will charge 100% for the stay and will have the option of re-letting the room.

- In the event of a change during the stay, the hotel will charge 100%.

 

Non-refundable booking

The full amount of the stay is charged at the time of booking, and cannot be changed, cancelled or exchanged. The hotelier may re-let a room immediately under the following conditions:

- Cancellation by the customer.

- Modification of the reservation by the customer. 

- Failure to present the customer.

- Errors made by the customer when making a reservation (dates, number of rooms, type of room).

 

Group

A reservation is considered to be a group when five or more rooms are booked. A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the stay will be requested at the time of booking to confirm the group. The balance must be paid one week before the date of arrival. No refunds will be made for cancellations or changes made after one month before the date of arrival.

 

Cancellation / modification of duplicate bookings

In the event of a duplicate booking following an error by the customer, the latter may modify/cancel the booking made in error within 24 hours (excluding arrival on the same day) following the booking, subject to a €35 cancellation fee, and only if the booking was made on our official website: https://hotel-edenia-carnac.fr/.

  

Breakfast packages included

Breakfast packages are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. It is the customer's responsibility to make a reservation at the establishment for dinner and breakfast. If the customer is not satisfied with the timing of breakfast or dinner, no refund will be given. 

 

Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale

The general terms and conditions of sale apply to all bookings. Any stay implies acceptance of the special conditions and the hotel's internal regulations. Failure to comply with the above provisions will result in immediate cancellation of the contract. In the event of non-compliance with the hotel's internal regulations, the customer will be asked to leave the hotel without being able to demand any reimbursement.

  

Disputes :

In the event of a dispute between the professional and the consumer, they will endeavour to find an amicable solution.

If no amicable agreement can be reached, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer ombudsman responsible for the professional, i.e. the Association of European Consumer Ombudsmen (AME CONSO), within one year of the written complaint sent to the professional.

Opposition to cold calling :

We would like to inform you that you have the option of registering your landline or mobile phone numbers free of charge on the telephone marketing opposition list, either via the BLOCTEL website (http://bloctel.gouv.fr/) or by post addressed to the company in charge of the public service. (In accordance with article L. 223-2 of the French Consumer Code)

 

 

 

IF THE CUSTOMER FAILS TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS, THE HOTELIER WILL BE OBLIGED TO ASK THE CUSTOMER TO LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT IMMEDIATELY, WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION.

 

 

INTERNAL REGULATIONS

Access to rooms, departure and arrival

The hotelier is at liberty not to receive guests whose dress is indecent and negligent, and whose behaviour is noisy, improper, alcoholic or contrary to public decency and order.

 

Any person wishing to stay at the Hotel is required to state their identity and age, as well as that of any persons accompanying them. The guest may not bring into the room third parties not known to the hotelier (Order of the Préfet de Police of 28 October 1936 modified by Order Art. 9 of 1 February 1940), unless authorised by the latter. Similarly, the customer may not occupy a room for a number of people greater than that stipulated by the regulations in force.

In the event of a breach of these regulations, the hotel reserves the right to charge the guest responsible the cost of the room corresponding to the number of people in excess, whether or not the guest is present, at the rates in force at the time of the breach of the house rules. The hotel will charge the offending guest's bank card.

 

On arrival, unless agreed by the hotelier, the customer may not demand to occupy the room before 4.00 pm. Nightly rental ceases at 11.00 am, regardless of the customer's arrival time.

 

A luggage storage service allows guests to leave their luggage at the hotel reception on presentation of a ticket. Without a ticket, the hotel cannot be held responsible for loss or theft. 

 

On arrival, the establishment will ask for a bank transfer of 90 euros (5 nights for stays of 5 nights or more). 

On departure, guests must return their room key to reception. It is forbidden to take any object belonging to the hotel with you: you must inform the hotel if you notice any mistake and return it, otherwise you will be charged. The room key is a key that the guest may keep on his/her person. However, they must not give it to a third party and must return it on the day of departure. If it is not returned, the hotel will charge €150 to the guest's credit card.

 

Children and extra beds

Children are the sole responsibility of the guest. It is forbidden to leave them unsupervised in the room.

 

At the guest's request, the hotel can provide a cot, subject to availability and only in superior rooms. 

One child up to 3 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.

Children and adults over the age of 3 are not permitted to use this bedding. Guests must request the use of an extra bed from the hotel.

 

The provision of an extra bed is subject to availability.

The maximum number of baby beds in a room is 1.

The maximum number of extra beds in a room is 1.

  

Pets

Pets are allowed for a supplement of €15 per night. Pets are the sole responsibility of their owners. Pets may not be left alone in the room. 

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are admitted free of charge with the prior agreement of the hotelier.

 

Group

A reservation is considered to be a group reservation when 5 or more rooms are booked. A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be requested at the time of booking to confirm the group. In the event of cancellation or modification up to 15 days before the date of arrival, the deposit will be refunded, excluding a flat-rate cancellation fee of €100.

The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations or changes made less than 15 days before the date of arrival.

 

Relaxation area with sauna, hammam and jacuzzi

The hammam, jacuzzi and sauna are co-ed. For hotel guests, access of 45 minutes per person per night is included (subject to availability).

Swimming costumes must be worn.

A decent attitude, marked by restraint and discretion, is required to respect the serenity of the premises.

Sexual relations are strictly forbidden in the relaxation area.

It is forbidden to bring in glass objects, consume alcoholic beverages or illegal substances, or smoke. 

Any breach of health and safety regulations will result in the expulsion without notice of any person whose behaviour contravenes these rules.

 

Damage and nuisance

The customer must use the leased property with due care.

The rooms made available to our guests are checked, functional and in good condition. Guests are asked to report any shortcomings immediately to the hotel reception. 

In the event of a problem, the customer must accept civil liability. In the event of damage, the hotel reserves the right to invoice the customer for the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies to any offence recorded after the guest's departure, the amount of compensation will be debited from the guest's card. 

In the event of deliberate or involuntary damage to equipment, objects or furniture belonging to the hotel, the hotel may demand full reimbursement with a penalty and damages of €1,000 to €2,000. 

In the event of flooding or water damage, whether voluntary or involuntary, the hotel may demand full reimbursement of the damage caused. In the event of damage to other rooms, reimbursement will be demanded for the nights of other guests. 

The hotel may charge a cleaning fee if the room is left in a condition deemed unsuitable. In the event of damage to carpets, bedding or bed bases, the hotel will demand reimbursement of the damage, with a minimum charge of €1,000 for repairs and for the inability to re-let the rooms.

As a general rule, customers must pay any damage caused directly to the hotel. They may call on their insurance (if they wish to be reimbursed) for any voluntary or involuntary damage caused during their stay.

All our rooms are non-smoking. The hotel reserves the right to charge a one-night cleaning fee to guests who smoke in their rooms. If the guest wishes to continue smoking inside or outside the designated areas, they will be asked to leave the hotel.

In the event of non-compliance with the hotel's internal regulations, the customer will be asked to leave the hotel without being able to demand any reimbursement. The hotel reserves the right to deduct the amount of any consumption not declared on departure, as well as any damage in the room. This amount will be deducted from the bank imprint provided at the time of booking. The hotel is under no obligation to inform the customer of this, but may provide an invoice on request. 

Customers must not nail anything to the walls or move any furniture.

Disturbances, even during the day, are forbidden. Any guest causing a disturbance or scandal in any form whatsoever will be asked to leave the hotel immediately and without refund. In the interests of the tranquillity of the establishment, all noise must cease between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am. For the respect and rest of other guests, please do not slam doors or make too much noise, particularly between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am. Any neighbourhood noise caused by the behaviour of a person or animal for which the guest is responsible may lead the hotelier to ask the guest to leave the establishment without the need for acoustic measurements, provided that the noise is such as to disturb the peace and quiet of the guests (art. R.1334-30 and R; 1334-31 of the Public Health Code). Any inappropriate disturbances will be reported to the police if necessary. 

A hotel room is a place of rest. All commercial activities are strictly forbidden.

 

Bans

For safety reasons and out of respect for everyone, smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hotel. In accordance with decree no. 2006-1386 of 15 November 2006 laying down the conditions for implementing the ban on smoking in places designated for collective use, smoking in the hotel will result in an additional charge of €90 or legal proceedings. It is also strictly forbidden to dismantle fire detection equipment, for the same reasons as above.

Any accidental activation of the fire alarm due to non-compliance with this provision will be billed at €150 to cover the cost of restarting the fire safety system.

Similarly, it is forbidden to cook in the rooms, to eat there or to bring in drinks not supplied by the hotel, or to do one's laundry there.

 

Claims

Any complaints about the quality of the services provided must be made to the hotelier immediately.

 

Safe

Identity papers and valuables (watches, jewellery, means of payment, etc.) must be placed in the safe provided. Available from reception.

 

Forgotten business

Items left behind or abandoned may be sold under the conditions laid down by the law of 31 March 1896. If the customer requests the return of his/her belongings by parcel or post, this must be done with tracking and insurance for valuable items. The items will be sent after the customer has paid the shipping costs.

 

Skulduggery

Skimming is an offence involving the consumption of goods or services for which a charge is made:

- By knowing that they are unable to pay or by being deliberately determined not to pay.

- All the while pretending to be willing to pay. 

Skulduggery is punishable by 6 months' imprisonment and a €7,500 fine in addition to damages.

The hotel's house rules apply to all bookings. Any stay implies acceptance of the special conditions and the hotel's house rules. Failure to comply with the above provisions will result in immediate cancellation of the contract and financial penalties will be applied. In the event of non-compliance with the hotel's internal regulations, the customer will be asked to leave the hotel without being able to demand any reimbursement.

ESTIME&SENS SPA TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

BOOKING / CANCELLATION

We strongly advise you to book your treatments in advance. All treatment bookings require a bank imprint when you book your appointment. 

Customers can have treatments outside opening hours, subject to a surcharge of 30% applied to the treatment price.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Otherwise, you will be billed in full for your treatment.

 

ARRIVAL

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to ensure punctuality. If you are late, out of consideration for other customers, the duration of your treatment will be reduced by the amount of time you are late (the full treatment booked will still be due). The spa has a changing room, should you wish to change on the premises. Towels are provided.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

If you suffer from any health problems (medication, allergies, circulatory problems, etc), please inform our staff. Some of our treatments may be inadvisable or even refused. Our entire treatment menu is not accessible to under-18s, except for children's treatments.

 

CARE

The times indicated correspond to the actual treatment time. The purchase of a treatment is personal (non-transferable and non-refundable). Gentlemen, we recommend that you shave at least one hour before your facial treatment for better results.

Our massages are body massages, non-therapeutic beauty and well-being treatments.

 

BEAUTY PASSPORT

Beauty passports are valid for one year from the date of issue. They are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Current promotional offers cannot be combined. In the event of cancellation of an appointment less than 24 hours in advance or in the event of no-show, the appointment will be considered́ as definitively lost and may not be the subject of any refund or credit note. No exceptions will be accepted.

 

ACCESS TO THE WELLNESS AREA

The spa has a hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, sensory shower and Finnish shower. Hotel guests have free access to the wellness area for 45 minutes per night.

 

The wellness area is accessible from the age of 16. The management declines all responsibilitý in the event of loss or theft of personal belongings inside the Estime&Sens Spa. Please bring your own swimming costume. The well-being area is mixed. For unaccompanied children, a waiver signed by the parents is compulsory.

 

HEALTH MEASURES

 

We ask you to take a shower beforehand and to use the antibacterial gel provided to disinfect your hands when you come to the spa.

Relaxation area: sauna, jacuzzi and steam room

Access is for adults only. The hammam, jacuzzi and sauna are co-ed. For hotel guests, access for 45 minutes per person per night is included (subject to availability), subject to booking a time slot before arrival. 

However, we do tolerate minors over the age of 16 accompanied by an adult.

For safety reasons, we accept a minimum of 2 people.
